May the peace, the mercy, and the blessings of Allah be upon you. Welcome to Al-Huda Islamic Center of Athens. We, the community of Al-Huda Islamic Center, welcome you and your families to our place of worship and gathering. Please feel free to come by and say hello and learn more about the way we worship Allah (the One God) and follow the example of His last prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him).
Asalaam alaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuhu
As-salamu-alaykum!
Alhamdulillah! We are pleased to announce that the expansion project of Al-Huda Islamic Center, Inc. has been approved by Athens-Clarke County (ACC). We are moving forward with the construction of a new 4,100-square-foot, two-story building that will provide additional space for prayers, religious activities, and other community needs.
Thirty-nine years ago, this mosque was built on a prime piece of land near the University of Georgia (UGA). Since then, Al-Huda Islamic Center has proudly served Muslim students, faculty, families, and the greater Athens community, including surrounding counties.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, our mosque is moving forward with its expansion, inshaAllah. Our focus is to raise the necessary funds for this project by involving all members of our community.
This expansion is an important investment in the future of our community and the generations to come.
We sincerely appeal to you to donate generously toward the expansion of this House of Allah, whether on behalf of yourself, your family, or your loved ones. Every contribution, large or small, will help us move closer to completing this project, inshaAllah.
